A unique aspect of my position at Barbera Homes is the coordination of the customer design center. This entails keeping up-to-date on stock, constant communication with vendors to obtain accurate pricing, creation of design center selection forms, processing of customer design center paperwork and more. 

Customer appointments were the most important part of managing the BH design center. Each customer had (3) hours in our design center with the interior designer to make the selections for their home. I would assist the interior designer in these appointments by filling out the customer selection form, showcasing samples and researching products when needed. 


After the customer has their design center appointment, I take their selections form and process it. I put their upgraded items on a spreadsheet, complete with product information and prices. That spreadsheet is then sent to the sales agent to review with the customer for approval or rejection. 

Now approaching the end of the process, I become the contact for customers who have questions after they've had their appointments. My contact information is provided and any design center-related inquiries go to me.
